Iran lashes out at Israel for large-scale attacks on Syria
The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry Esmail Baqaei strongly condemned the Israeli regime’s extensive military attacks on various parts of Syria especially Damascus.
The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Esmail Baqaei, strongly condemned the Israeli regime’s extensive military attacks on various parts of Syria, especially Damascus.    Baqaei made the reaction after the intensified airstrikes by the Israeli regime on Wednesday targeting public, governmental, and infrastructure sites amid the continued occupation of large parts of Syria.    He stated, “It is now clear to everyone that the Israeli regime is the greatest threat to peace and stability in the region. This regime, with the support of the US and some Western countries, particularly Germany, the UK, and France, is unprecedentedly endangering regional and international peace and security,”    Referring to developments in the region over the past two years, Baqaei emphasized that what is happening in Syria is the result of excessive silence and inaction in the face of the Israeli regime's genocide, militarism, and expansionism, the consequences and damage of which are not limited to the suffering Syrian people but affect the entire region.    The Foreign Ministry spokesperson also emphasized the shared responsibility of all regional countries in protecting peace and stability.    He called for immediate and effective action by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the United Nations to halt the warmongering and dangerous expansionism of the occupying regime in the region.
