The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, and his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty, had a telephone conversation on Thursday evening to consult and exchange views regarding the latest developments in the region.   During the call, Araghchi expressed deep concern over the recent developments in Syria, the Zionist regime’s attacks on Syria and Lebanon, and the ongoing genocide in Gaza.    He emphasized the urgent need for coordinated action by regional countries to confront the warmongering and expansionist policies of the Zionist regime, which destabilize and threaten the security of the entire region.   The Egyptian foreign minister, in turn, reaffirmed his country’s position in support of Syria’s territorial integrity, the protection of the rights of all minorities, and resistance against efforts to fragment the country.
