Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and his Swiss counterpart Ignazio Cassis held a telephone conversation on Saturday during which they discussed regional developments and bilateral relations.    The Iranian foreign minister referred to the military aggression by the Zionist regime and the US against Iran, describing it as a blatant violation of the principles of the UN Charter and international law. Araghchi stressed the need for all countries to take a firm stance on the aggression and condemn the clear breach of international law and hold the aggressors accountable.    He slammed the biased stance of some European countries on the Zionist regime and US attacks on Iran and their efforts to justify the acts of aggression. Araghchi warned that such behavior leads to the normalization and promotion of lawlessness and increases insecurity both in the region and the wider world.    The Swiss foreign minister for his part reaffirmed Switzerland’s commitment to diplomacy and its readiness to offer good-will assistance in this regard. Cassis described the military attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities as a violation of international law. He also underscored the importance of continued efforts to prevent further escalation and instability.
