Iran dismisses U.S. allegation of arms transfers to Yemen
Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baqaei has rejected as baseless the United States’ claim regarding the shipment of military equipment from Iran to Yemen. He described it as part of a media campaign against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baqaei has rejected as baseless the United States’ claim regarding the shipment of military equipment from Iran to Yemen. He described it as part of a media campaign against the Islamic Republic of Iran.    Baqaei pointed to the direct responsibility of the United States in perpetuating the crimes and warmongering of the Zionist regime in the occupied Palestinian territories and other regional states. He stated that such recurring claims by the U.S. are aimed at justifying its continued military presence in the region and fabricating pretexts for its destabilizing and provocative conduct along with that of the Zionist regime.    He stressed that at a time when the Zionist regime, equipped with deadly U.S.-supplied weaponry and enjoying full political and media backing from Washington, has intensified its genocide in Gaza and the West Bank—while simultaneously launching repeated military attacks violating the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Syria and Lebanon—the U.S. claim of intercepting a shipment of arms allegedly bound for Yemen amounts to nothing more than a duplicitous attempt to deflect public attention from the real crisis in the region: the Zionist regime’s ongoing aggression and atrocities against the peoples of the region, as well as the destructive and destabilizing interference of the United States.
