I.R of Iran's New Ambassador and Permanent Representative Presented Credentials

The new Ambassador and Permanent Representative of I.R. of Iran to the UNOV Dr. Mohsen Naziri Asal, met with Mr. Dennis Thatchaichawalit, the Deputy Director-General of the United Nations Office in Vienna and presented his credentials to him.

The new Ambassador and Permanent Representative of I.R. of Iran to the UNOV Dr. Mohsen Naziri Asal, met with Mr. Dennis Thatchaichawalit, the Deputy Director-General of the United Nations Office in Vienna and presented his credentials to him.

 

      Ambassador Naziri emphasized the importance of promoting cooperation between Iran and UNOV and added that his country will continue to support the UNOV in its effort to promote principles and objectives of the charter of UN. He expressed hope that both sides would have meaningful cooperation in the areas of common interest.

 

       Mr. Thatchaichawalit welcomed Dr. Naziri to UNOV and acknowledged Iran's important role in the decision-making process of the relevant international organizations. He expressed the UNOV's readiness to provide capacity-building and assistance in the areas wherever Iran needs international cooperation.
