I.R of Iran's New Ambassador and Permanent Representative Begun His Work
The newly appointed Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the I.R. of Iran to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Vienna Mr. Mohsen Naziri Asl, has begun his work here in Vienna.
Ambassador Naziri received a Ph.D. in international law from University of Shahid Beheshti, and before starting the new carrier, he served as Advisor to the Foreign Minister and also Secretary of National Authority for CWC and other chemical conventions.
Positions such as former Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the I.R.of Iran to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva, former head of Disarmament and Arms Control Department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and long-term presence in international forums and organizations can also be seen in the working background of this experienced diplomat.
Mr. Naziri is also a senior researcher and expert in the field of international law, disarmament, and arms control and has taught courses in Iranian universities. He has also written several papers and publications with the topics of International Law and security in Persian and English languages.
