FM Araghchi departs for New York to attend UNGA

Esmaeil Baqaei, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced the departure of the Minister of Foreign Affairs to the United States of America to participate in the annual session of the United Nations.

According to Baqaei, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, heading a diplomatic delegation, is traveling to New York to attend the annual session of the General Assembly of the United Nations.

During this visit, Araghchi, while accompanying the
President at the annual session of the General Assembly, will also take part in various meetings related to the items on the agenda of the United Nations and expound the positions and views of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Meetings with counterparts from different countries and consultations on bilateral, regional, and international issues are likewise included in the agenda of this diplomatic mission.
